Cardio Pilates
The Cardio Pilates workout is a form of aerobic activity that is an extension of floor pilates. This exercise is an invigorating fusion of Pilates Matwork with standing cardiovascular rhythmic patterns. Adding cardio to pilates ensures that fitness participants can get the benefits of a heightened heart rate while enjoying pilates activities. This exercise will include a jump board or ball, hand weights & bands to add a cardio element and help tone the arms and upper body to maximize fat burning.
This class can work for anyone at any range of fitness. Intensity levels will be adapted to fit the skill level of the participants. Everyone is encouraged to work at his or her own pace. It is also important to wear good supportive shoes.
